This is a rare and quite old Lockback Folding Knife made in Sheffield after 1890. I estimate prior to WW1. Made by Joseph Rodgers No. 6 Norfolk Sheffield England as marked on the tang and blade flat.
Knife measures 6" closed and 11" in locked open position. The clip point blade is very full, both ways.
There is no pitting or scars and looks like it may have been cleaned at some point. Blade locks open tightly with no wobble. Grooved steel bolster, liners and pins.
Handles are thinly cut Stag slabs with great texture and color. They are perfect with no chips or cracks. A very nice knife that's over 100 years old.
