FOLDED - CARBON STEEL KATANA. Our modern Katana is not only a beautiful work of art but also a fully functional battle ready Katana.

This black Katana is handmade and sharpened using Japanese methods to create an excellent clay tempered - folded high carbon steel blade with a genuine wave temper-line. The accessories & fittings of the sword are all quality and in character, from the genuine ray-skin handle, hardwood scabbard, to the solid brass sword fittings.

This full tang Katana is flexible, very strong and glides through the air with ease. It's a real pleasure to use and is sharp enough to slice thin paper, bamboo stems, grass matting & more. Folded steel blade (over 32,000 individual steel layers produce great strength and a high edge hardness). Higher than average 1095 high carbon steel blade composition.

Genuine clay tempered blade with visible wave Hamon line. High quality sword fittings and scabbard materials. Predominantly black colour scheme with a high presentability value. Battle ready and an extremely deadly weapon.
