We have the highest quality O-Katana constructed from folded high carbon steel - Kobuse dual layer forge welded steels. Our hand forged folded steel Katana is not only a beautiful work of art but also a fully functional battle ready Katana. This curved sword is hand forged from a single piece of forge welded steels into a Kobuse structure. With a soft 45 HRC inner core and hard 65 HRC edge & outer layer. The steel is then folded creating over 2,500 steel layers, clay tempered, and finally hand sharpened using traditional Japanese methods to create a razor sharp and top-of-the-line blade.

The accessories & fittings of the sword are all quality and in Japanese character; from the genuine ray-skin handle, hardwood scabbard with buffalo horn inserts, to the solid brass sword fittings. This full tang Katana is flexible, very resilient and glides through the air with ease.
