Main blade is sharpened, but full length; secondary blade and punch are full. Vintage Whittler Pattern - REVERSE-GUNSTOCK FRAME pocket knife. Tang stamp is "WILBERT CUTLERY Co" / "CHICAGO". This is an early 20th Century knife; rare pattern, punch, and pyremite frame.
Full-length PUNCH is marked with patent number: 833146 (applied for in 1906). Knife is 3-1/2 closed with brass liners. The blade steel is carbon steel.
There is an attractive swedge along the blade spine (old-timey workmanship). The third blade is a punch. Nickel-silver federal shield has scratches (I did not buff it clean to remove scratches). Blades each have good snap.Main blade has excellent matchup with the backspring, and absolutely no right/left play. Handles are green pyremite with great color and swirl. Handles have no pin cracks, no chips, and no other issues.
Used, carried, and sharpened; but blades remain fully functional. Main blade has been sharpened and cleaned (not by me). Props used in these photographs are not included in the sale.
