VOSS CUT CO GERMANY is the tang stamp on the skinner blade (no tang mark on the clip blade). I believe that this knife dates to the 1950's to 1960's. Jigged brown bovine bone handles. The back has a very small, tight, (almost invisible) hairline near the upper bolster.
Both blades have strong snap, no wobble. The blades are each near full and have light scratches, tarnish, and dark patina. This is an older very high quality Solingen-made knife - ruggedly built. Great knife for everyday carry and use, with fine Solingen carbon steel blades.
The knife shown in the photos is the exact knife that you will receive. See my other listings for more collectible knives. Any knives listed as having BONE handles have handles made of Bovine bone from the South American Zebu cattle. Any knives listed as having STAG handles have handles made of Sambar deer antler - naturally shed.
