Blade Steel: clay tempered 1095 carbon steel, pattern folded steel, sharp. Before being quenched, a special clay mixture can be applied onto the blade to harden the edge and obtain different hardness on the blade.

Acier de lame : acier au carbone 1095 trempé à l'argile, acier plié en motif, tranchant. Avant d'être trempée, un mélange d'argile spécial peut être appliqué sur la lame pour durcir le bord et obtenir une dureté différente sur la lame.
